About the Nursery
Okewood Nursery is in a beautiful setting in the rural village of Walliswood on the Surrey/Sussex borders near Dorking. It is run in a purpose built building in safe, private grounds. It’s registered to take up to 24 children per session, aged 2 years to school age. Nursery sessions run from 9am to 12 noon and afternoon sessions from 12 noon to 2.30pm. Children may attend lunches on an occasional basis. The nursery is registered to receive Government funding as well as a variety of workplace voucher schemes.
Sandie Lambrou has recently taken over the management of Okewood Nursery. She has been working in childcare for over 25 years. She has worked as a residential social worker, helped set up a Montessori Nursery, worked in main stream schooling with disabled children, been a special needs governor and for the last 5 years run a nursery in Horsham.
